Privacy Policy

When you contact us or request an initial consultation, we collect your company name, your name, your email address, and what you would like to discuss (including any relevant URLs). When you request materials, such as the full PDF of our sample report, we collect your email address.

Quick Design QA (free) and the UI Review (paid) point out UI problems in a screenshot of a web page or app screen that you send us.

• —Your email address. For Quick Design QA, we use it only to send you a verification code, to count how many free checks you have used, to record your consent to sending your screenshot to the AI, and to prevent abuse. For the UI Review, we use it to email you the link to the page where you upload your screenshot and the link to your report.
• —Your screenshot. We send it to an AI for review (section 05 explains where it goes and how it is handled there). We delete it as soon as the review ends, whether or not the review succeeds.
• —What you type into the form, such as what the screen is for. We send it to the AI together with your screenshot, and the AI provider handles it in the same way. For Quick Design QA, we do not keep it. For the UI Review, it appears in your report.
• —Your IP address and device information (your browser and operating system). For Quick Design QA, we record them when you press the “Send verification code” button, to prevent abuse, and delete them after 90 days.
• —Your UI Review payment details. You pay on a checkout page run by Stripe, a payment service. Your card number and security code never reach us. From Stripe, we receive the email address you used at checkout, the amount, and the payment ID. In Stripe's dashboard we can also see limited card details, such as the card brand and last four digits. Stripe's own privacy policy covers how Stripe handles your information.
• —Your UI Review order record. When the review starts, we record the time, your IP address and device information, and the consent text you agreed to, together with your Stripe payment ID, and delete this record after about 13 months.

We do not send your email address, IP address, or device information to the AI.

• —To respond to your inquiries and consultation requests, and to provide our diagnosis services
• —To provide Quick Design QA and the UI Review (running the review, giving you the results, and handling refunds and inquiries), and to prevent abuse
• —To send you materials you requested (such as the full PDF of our sample report)
• —To contact you about quotes, contracts, invoices, and other matters relating to a transaction with you
• —To tell you about our services (we do not send this to email addresses given for Quick Design QA, and you can ask us to stop at any time)

Except as required or permitted by law, or for the service providers in section 06 and the analytics in section 07, we do not share personal information with third parties without your consent.

We are a company in Japan, and Japanese law requires your consent before we send personal information abroad. If you agree before uploading, we send your screenshot and the text you typed into the form (section 02) to OpenAI or Anthropic. We send it to one of them; if that company's service fails, we also send it to the other.

• —Country: the United States of America. Both companies have their headquarters in California.
• —US privacy law: there is no comprehensive federal privacy law; instead, separate federal laws cover areas such as communications, finance and health care. California has a comprehensive law, the California Consumer Privacy Act. The United States takes part in the Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) System of APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation), which certifies companies that handle personal information across borders. • —How the two companies handle it: it is not used to train AI models. Both companies state that their business services, which we use, do not use content for training unless the customer allows it, and we have not given that permission. They normally delete what they receive within 30 days, but may keep it longer when the law requires it or when needed to handle misuse of their services. While it is kept, their staff or contractors may look at it.

We keep a record that you gave this consent: for 90 days for Quick Design QA, and for about 13 months with your order record for the UI Review.

Where needed to run our services, we may use outside service providers for parts of our work, such as sending email and managing forms. We choose them carefully and oversee how they handle your information.

To understand how the site is used and to improve our services, this site uses Google Analytics (GA4), an analytics tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data, such as when you visited, which pages you viewed, which site referred you, and the browser and device you used. This information is sent to and stored by Google. It does not include information that directly identifies you, such as your name. We use this data only to analyze and improve our services. You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For details of how Google handles the data, see Google's privacy policy.

If you ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, we will verify your identity and respond promptly. Please contact us at the address below.

We may update this policy when needed and will announce significant changes on this site.
